Custom Martingale Collars - 1.0" width
Heavy-duty collars designed, carved, tooled, dyed, and sewn all by hand. Functional, wearable art for your pup made the old-fashioned way! Choose your design, size, and thread color (optional)!
The "body" of the collar is 8-10 oz American veg tan leather; most styles will be dyed a medium English tan to emphasize the tooled design (if you prefer a darker finish, we can also make that happen). Collars are backed for two-ply durability with a layer of 4-5 oz veg tan, which is left un-dyed to avoid dye rub-off on neck fur.
Martingale hardware for 1.0" collars is chrome-plated stainless steel with a 6" chain (2.5mm weight).

I. DESIGN
First, choose from one of 12 creative designs below (click to enlarge). If you would like to see additional images of a design, please check out the Etsy store or simply give me a holler.
II. SIZE
The length reflects the total open circumference of the martingale collar including hardware as measured along the outside of the collar.
IMPORTANT: Review the guide below for instructions on how to measure your dog (click to enlarge). These collars are around 3/8" thick when finished, so erring on the side of slightly larger is safest.
This style is not adjustable so PLEASE measure carefully!

III. THREAD
All of my collars are saddle-stitched completely by hand -- no machines in sight! The image below shows thread colors available for optional customization. Otherwise, if you have no preference, it will be "maker's choice".

You can order through the Etsy Store, or directly through me (at a special non-Etsy rate!).
For direct orders, please contact me and I will send an order form for the style of interest. After you fill that out, I will contact you to confirm details and provide a price quote.
Gift certificate holders -- Use the direct contact as described above; please include the Certificate No. in the correspondence (found in the middle of the certificate).
Lead time for custom orders is 2 - 4 weeks depending heavily on my schedule (sadly, this isn't my day job) and number of active orders. I will let you know if a delay is expected. Also, please view the pre-made offerings in my shop; I may just have the collar of your dreams already on hand!
